Man, I've Got Writer's Block

Some interesting things have happened recently, but I'm so annoyed and angry with some aspects of my job right now, it's hard to be creative and I feel bad for making you all suffer along with me. In a nutshell, I've been blamed for other peoples' mistakes, their lack of responsibility, and their general laziness, although my AWESOME boss is totally sticking up for me, which helps. So, this post won't be my best, but since I've resorted back to checking my own blog hoping something will have been posted, I figure it's time to inspire myself by writing an entry.

This weekend, Jon went to Wisconsin for our friends Joe and Jill's wedding. Aren't they cute?
Jon was an usher. He's cute, too.

Jon and I couldn't both afford to go, and I'd already thrown Jill a bachelorette party, plus I wasn't an integral part of the wedding, so Jon went for both of us. He also got to visit his mom and brother in Chicago, so he had a good weekend.

Don't feel bad for me though, I had a good weekend too! With the help of my friend Morgan, I picked up and built our super cool new dining room table.

It's super cool instead of just regular cool because instead of seats, it has benches with really soft cushions. AAAAND, the cushions are covered with this invincible material (which is actually more beigey-brown than pictured here), you just can't stain it! Morgan helped prove this by spilling some red wine on the completed bench in celebration! It totally didn't stain and wiped up really easily! Thanks, Morgan especially for the use of your truck, strength, and company!

Finally, I read the newest Harry Potter book. It was great, but I wish J.K. Rowling would write a little faster because several of her references from earlier books in the series were TOTALLY lost on me (well, I guess they happened in earlier books, but who knows since I read the first book like 17 years ago). Some day after the 7th book is published, I'll reread the whole series and put some things together.

Now I must go and watch The 70's House on MTV. I highly recommend that program, which I might write more about when I'm feeling more inspired. I'll also post some more San Diego photos that Fay e-mailed me. I'm embarrassed to tell you that Jon and I took 3 pictures. They were all exactly like the one from the last post except the second was Fay and Randy further away, and the last was Jon and me in place of Fay and Randy. We're that magic, or maybe Randy took that picture. Later, gators. (See, that's a reference to the 70's, according to the show.)
