I'm Not Dead
I'm sure you are all super relieved to know that I am not dead. A lot of stuff has happened since February, just none of it seemed to inspire a blog entry from me. However, I am now not soooo busy at work that I just go home and pass out, so hopefully, I will be able to write more soon. In the meantime, I'll just post a list of some of the things that have been going on lately...
- I got contacts. I love them! I was seriously blind for a long time, but I didn't like to wear my glasses because the legs would continually rip hair out of my head, so I just went along with everything blurry. As soon as I put my contacts in, I couldn't believe what I'd been missing! Did you know that those green signs at corners of streets actually tell you what street you're on!? However, the whole contact purchasing experience was slightly terrifying (including such highlights as the technician who was teaching me how to insert the contacts into my eyes' unclean hands, and the two gigantic unlocked file cabinets holding confidential patient information just sitting unguarded in the waiting room), so I didn't get to experiment with colored ones like I really wanted. I have to go back soon to buy my next batch, so maybe I'll be braver (or I'll just go to a better place).
- My brother is getting married in 25 days! I'll get to go home for that, which is always fun.
- I'm blonde again! I missed it soooo much. I went home last month for my brother's wedding shower and went to the lady who has been cutting my hair since I was 2. It is the cutest cut I've ever had and it looks even better blonde.
- In T.V. news, I have fallen in love with So NoTORIous on VH1. So NoTORIous is an hilariously adorable show loosely based on Tori Spelling's life. I know it sounds bad, but it continually cracks me up. Two of my favorite quotes are "What does Farrah need a potato for? Is she solving a crime?" (Tori lives next door to Farrah Fawcett who wants to borrow a potato. I don't know, isn't it great!?) and, once Tori and her friends were stuck in a Hummer limo in a Del Taco drive-thru and were trying to figure out how to get out when one of the friends says something like "The door only opens 2 inches, Tori, go get help!" It's pretty great and no one has to know you watch it.
- Finally, since I just can't torture poor little Sophie enough and I feel bad that I haven't blogged in so long, here is a fabulous picture of her in a little summer frock. The best part is, I have one almost identical to hers in green.

In the next few days, as my way of thanking you for still coming here, I will post my all time favorite story. It involves my brother, Taco Bell, and some soda. Stay tuned...

I watch So NoTORIous too! I love it. What do you think about Mimi Larue?
Oh man! How cute are Mimi's outfits!? I'm glad I'm not the only one unashamed to admit that that show is fantastic!
Sophie looks gorgeous in her summer frock! The pink brings out the green in her eyes.
