#$@&%!@##%%$$$#&!!!
We all pulled over and I shakily called Kirt, who was once again nice enough to come and rescue me from yet another fine moment (and buy me coffee and lunch!). One of the only good things that happened was when I was on the phone with my insurance company, the cops asked him if he was my husband. I didn't see him, but imagine he turned as bright pink as the fluid that was leaking out of my car's engine. I heard him vehemently declare that he was not but I didn't get to hear the rest of what he said because the insurance agent started talking again. It was the only laugh I got out of the whole ordeal. Until I went to pick up my rental car from my friend's ex-boyfriend, with whom I helped play an instrumental part in their break up, who is apparently now a manager at a car rental place. I actually like the rental car I got. It's a Kia Optima which I have named Yentil. Get it? Yentil the rental...
Now I am waiting to hear whether or not my car is totaled, which I am kind of hoping it is because A.) I will be terrified to drive it even if the mechanics manage to "fix" it and B.) I've never picked out or paid for a new (to me) car entirely on my own. C.) I finally get to use the insurance I pay so much for. Too bad I will now pay even more for it. I'm totally rooting for an SLK convertible, but Kirt is not nearly as enthusiastic about it as I am. I seriously have no idea why though! He said something like leak, loud, blah, blah, expensive death trap, blah blahbitty blah blah. But they are soooo cute! Plus, I talked to Fay about it and she thinks it is a great time in my life to get an impractical 2 seater sports car.

I should know by Thursday if the poor Accord is totaled or not, so I will let you know if I will be exploring the wide world of car shopping. I have to say I am NOT looking forward to that though. Oh well, at least I got a day off of work.

Any update? Is there a new car in your future? I vote for hybrids given the soaring price of gas...
